We connect people in pain to resources that go beyond the doctor’s office.
"I want to thank you all for what you have been helping me with—from the initial phone call to the most supportive, lovely email. Thank you so much for all the options you gave me!"
"All you guys have responded so beautifully. I can't tell you how important it's been that you have been there. Even though I haven't met you, I couldn't have gone through this on my own."

How it works
After you contact us, we'll call you to gather more details and get a better sense of what's going on in your life. We'll discover what's worked and what hasn't worked and help prioritize your issues. Our initial conversation may take 15 minutes to 1 hour. Then, we'll conduct research and find the best services and support to meet your needs. Most importantly, we'll follow up to find out if there's anything else you need.
Our volunteers train for more than 30 hours before they start helping Connect for Health clients. Most of them are entering the health profession as doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, or social workers. They have a passion and commitment to improving the lives of people in pain. They are the future of our health care community.
Connect for Health is not a crisis line
If you require immediate medical assistance, call 911. If you are in distress, or feel you may cause harm to yourself or others, these crisis lines can provide immediate assistance.
Connect for Health is offered in partnership by Pain BC and the Basics for Health Society.
