Help improve the lives of people living with pain in your community
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the unique skills and talents of our volunteers. We need people who are willing to devote their time and energy to making positive change in their own lives and in the lives of others in the community.
Current Volunteer Opportunities:
Please contact us to apply for a current volunteer position or to be added to our list. We'll update you as we develop new opportunities.
Other Ways to Help the Chronic Pain Community:
- Write a letter to your local MLA or local newspaper about the need and importance of chronic pain support. The more aware decision makers, researchers, health care authorities, and the public become about chronic pain, the more Pain BC can influence policy change and improve services for people in pain.
- Get involved in our campaigns. Each year, we have two exciting events to raise awareness about chronic pain. In November, during National Pain Awareness Week, we run the #livingwithpain experiment. In June, we run our MOVEment event to raise money and awareness for Pain BC.
- Post in our Live Plan Be forum. Live Plan Be's discussion forum is a safe place for you to connect with peer community members to share and discuss whatever is on your mind. Visit www.liveplanbe.ca to set up a free account and start posting. Our community can greatly benefit from you engaging in these online discussions.
